A Chinese Garden to Open at VIU Campus on the Island of San Servolo

A ceremony will take place on March 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. on the VIU Campus of San Servolo Island to lay the foundation stone of the Chinese Garden designed by Master Ye Fang, which will be built in the next months.
Ms. Francesca Zaccariotto, President of the Provincial Government of Venice, and Ambassador Umberto Vattani, President of the Venice International University, will attend the ceremony together with Master Ye Fang.

This project will furthermore strengthen the relationship between the VIU and the government and institutions of the People’s Republic of China also in the framework of the Chinese Year to be celebrated in Italy in 2010.
