Methane to Markets Partnership Expo

New Delhi, India. March 2-5, 2010

The second edition of the Methane to Markets Partnership Expo will be held in New Delhi, India from March 2 to 5, 2010. The first Expo was held in 2007 in Beijing, China, counting more than 750 participants coming from 34 countries.
The event is organized by the Methane to Markets Partnership, an international public-private initiative launched in 2004 by 14 countries with the aim of accelerating deployment of methane emission-reducing technologies and practices, stimulating economic growth and energy security in Partner countries, improving local environmental quality, and leading the fight against global warming.

The Expo is an important international forum for the promotion of methane recovery and use, and related project opportunities and technologies. The program will include roundtables, site visits and technical sessions about best management of methane coming from landfills, oil and gas wells and from the agriculture and mining sectors.
Methane recovery and use projects ready for immediate financing or implementation will be showcased as well.
