Globalization, Economics and Sustainabilty: Conversations and More at VIU

In this framework, a one-day event on globalization, economics and sustainability will be opening the Spring 2010 and Globalization Program Semesters at VIU on February 25, 2010 starting from 10.30 am.
Salvatore Rossi, Director of the Economics, Research and International Relations Department of the Bank of Italy and Enzo Rullani, President of the TeDIS Center of the VIU, will have a ‘A Dialogue on Globalisation: Scenarios for Italy beyond the Crisis’. On this occasion Enzo Rullani and Salvatore Rossi will present their recently published books: “Modernità sostenibile. Idee, filiere e servizi per uscire dalla crisi” and “Controtempo. L'Italia nella crisi mondiale” respectively.
In the afternoon Gianni Toniolo, former Dean of the VIU and current Professor of Economic History at Duke University and LUISS, will deliver a Lectio Magistralis on ‘A long run perspective on Globalization’ to open the VIU Spring 2010 semester program.
