Welcome the Delegation - VIU_NDRC "Capacity Building on Climate Change"

Italy, June 20 – July 4, 2009

On June 20 the second delegation of 2009 from the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission will arrive in Rome to start a training on Capacity Building on Climate Change.

The participants are mostly general or deputy directors from provincial and municipal development and reform commissions. The lectures and site visits will therefore aim at giving an overview on the causes and issues connected to climate change, and the possible solutions to be adopted. Strategies, policies and plans of actions, both at national and local level, will be introduced to show how different countries are trying to reduce greenhouse gases emissions and adapting to climate change according to their specific characteristics and priorities.
