Italy/Veneto Region Economic Mission to China for Environmental Protection

Shenyang, Qingdao, Beijing, 9th-15th November 2008

The Thematic Environmental Networks Centre of Venice International University is pleased to inform that in November a delegation of the Veneto Region Foreign Trade Centre will visit China with the aim to present to Chinese counterparts the advanced productions and technologies of Veneto Region economic system, with particular regard to Environmental Protection.

The Veneto Foreign Trade Centre is a non-profit organisation composed by the seven Chambers of Commerce of the Veneto region, which often cooperate with the Veneto Regional Government. The Cenre works together with regional business associations to arrange activities aimed at promoting and developing international cooperation among companies.

The Veneto delegation is made up of experts and representatives of companies acting in the environmental protection field, and will visit Shenyang, Qingdao and Beijing. In each location it will carry out the following activities:

• Technical roundtables to promote Veneto Region new advanced productions for environmental protection

•  Meetings with local authorities and experts in environmental protection

•  B2B meetings between Veneto and Chinese companies
